Lancia : Delta

Model Introduction

The Lancia Delta, introduced in 1979, was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro and engineered to offer sharp handling, practicality, and refinement in a compact hatchback. Built on the Fiat Ritmo platform but with Lancia’s own suspension tuning, it quickly gained a reputation for poise and agility. The Delta went on to dominate the World Rally Championship in Integrale form, but even standard models offered crisp steering, well-appointed interiors, and aerodynamic detailing that set them apart from mainstream rivals.
