Lada : Niva

Model Introduction

The Lada Niva, launched in 1977, was one of the first compact 4x4s to combine a monocoque body with full-time four-wheel drive and coil-sprung suspension. Designed by AvtoVAZ for Soviet roads and beyond, it proved tough, simple to repair, and capable of tackling some of the world’s harshest terrain. Still in production today, it remains a symbol of rugged, go-anywhere motoring.
