Citroen : GS and GSA
Model Introduction
The Citroën GS, launched in 1970, filled the gap between the 2CV and DS with aerodynamic styling, hydropneumatic suspension, and a smooth flat-four engine. It offered big-car comfort in a compact package and won European Car of the Year in 1971.
