Model Introduction
The BMW E21, launched in 1975, was the first 3 Series and set the standard for compact executive cars. Styled by Paul Bracq, it featured rear-wheel drive, a driver-focused dashboard, and a range of responsive four- and six-cylinder engines.

Cabriolet BMWs are back. Dealer Frank Sytner of Nottingham has announced an arrangement between his company and coachbuilders Baur of Stuttgart to take the roofs off right hand drive BMW 3-series cars. Conversions are offered on used cars only and will cost £3699.
