Phil Holden emailed recently to tell me about his Volvo estate, after seeing my photos from the Retro Rides Gathering.

He writes:

• Fully Poly bushes
• Bilstein shocks
• Lowered front springs and chopped heavy duty towing springs on the rear
• 16t turbo
• 3" down pipe and system
• 960maf with custom pipework and 3" cone filter
• V70r blue injectors
• Chipped ecus
• Mbc
• Rs500 intercooler
• Adjustable fuel pressure
• Boost, AFR and oil pressure guages
• Bucket seat and harnesses
• Deep dish steering wheel and boss
• Currently running 18psi
• Saving up for TTV clutch and stage 1 850r clutch conversion
• Looking for a g80 locker to modify and larger custom rad then upping the boost and fuelling to suit and looking for approx 350whp when set up
• I've fitted a highlight cam with top end rebuilt (thanks jim)
• BMW alloys with adapters and spacers
• Rolled rear arches

Quite a machine!
